Morgan is a native of The Woodlands, Texas. She received her formal ballet training at Houston Ballet Academy. Upon graduation from the academy, she danced with Colorado Ballet and then received her BFA in Ballet from the University of Utah. Prior to joining Alabama Ballet, she has danced with Ballet West and Nashville Ballet. She is thankful to have had opportunities to perform and compete overseas in China, Greece, Germany, and Romania. Since joining Alabama Ballet some of Morgan’s favorite roles include Coffee and Principal Hot Chocolate in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®, Fairy of Generosity in The Sleeping Beauty, Bossa Nova and Tutti Fruitti in Dennis Nahat’s Blue Suede Shoes, Mercedes in Don Quixote and Harlot in Roger Van Fleteren’s Romeo and Juliet. In addition, one of her most cherished experiences was working with choreographer Christopher Bruce and she was honored to be chosen for “Blue Girl” in his ballet, Sergeant Early’s Dream. Morgan is excited to be back onstage this season after welcoming a baby boy, Farrell Sims, with her husband in March of 2024.
