Elisabeth began her formal training in classical ballet with Maryland Youth Ballet at age eight. While there, she was selected to participate in the Kennedy Center Master Class series, earning the opportunity to take class with artists and directors from American Ballet Theatre, Suzanne Farrell Ballet, New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Mariinsky Ballet, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. Throughout her training Elisabeth also attended summer programs at the School of American Ballet, Houston Ballet, and Orlando Ballet. At the age of sixteen, Elisabeth moved away from home to continue her training at Houston Ballet Academy, where she performed works by Stanton Welch and Ben Stevenson OBE. While at Houston Ballet Academy Elisabeth had the opportunity to perform one of her favorite works, George Balanchine’s Serenade. She then joined Orlando Ballet’s Second Company where she enjoyed the opportunity to perform corps and demi soloist roles in many of Orlando Ballet Company’s productions. Some of her favorites include The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Jorden Morris’ Peter Pan, and The Great Gatsby. Elisabeth then joined Alabama Ballet as an apprentice for the 22-23 season. In 2023 she became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and hopes to use her certification to help dancers improve technique and prevent injuries through proper cross training. She is very grateful and excited to be a part of Alabama Ballet for another season under the direction of Christopher Stuart.
