Elijah Crispen, Thirteenth Season
CULLMAN, ALABAMA

Elijah Crispen is excited to be back with the Alabama Ballet. He began his training with Elaine Willingham before being accepted into the dance program at the Alabama School of Fine Arts before continuing his training with the Alabama Ballet.  Most recently, he has performed as Albrecht and in Peasant Pas in Giselle, Clyde in Roger VanFleteren’s Bonnie and Clyde and in Twyla Tharp’s Nine Sinatra Songs and Baker’s Dozen. Elijah has especially enjoyed performing as Rooster Boy in Christopher Bruce’s Rooster, and as Cavalier, Soldier Doll, Tea and Candy Cane in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® as well as Allegro Brillante.  Other works include Sir Frederick Ashton’s Les Patineurs, Alain in La Fille Mal Gardee’, Pas de trois in Swan Lake and as the General in Graduation Ball.   Other notable works include La Sylphide, Sleeping Beauty and Michael Fothergill’s Chiaroscuro. Elijah is grateful for the opportunity to pursue his passion.
