Co-facilitating Youth Orchestra Board & Staff

A former student of the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestras (PYSO), Alex Chu feels lucky to be the Pasadena Symphony’s Director of Education for the past 8 years. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science at the University of California, Berkeley, and his Masters of Education at Azusa Pacific University. He is the camp director of Bellis Music Camp, a weeklong middle school band and orchestra summer camp, and is a proud dog dad to Calvin, an 11-year-old shiba-inu, and Hobbes, an 11-year-old corgi.
