Chase Brock made his Broadway debut at 16 in Susan Stroman’s revival of The Music Man. Choreography: Be More Chill (Broadway, West End, Japan, Off-Broadway, Two River Theater), Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and Picnic (Broadway), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (U.S., Germany, Austria and Japan), The Ghost and The Lady (Japan), “Dash & Lily” (Netflix), “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” (HBO), Roméo et Juliette (The Metropolitan Opera), and the Nintendo Wii game Dance on Broadway, as well as co-choreographing Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” for the BET Awards. Directing: Kristin Bell’s “Encore!” (Disney+) as an onscreen director, the documentary feature The Joy is in the Work, concerts starring Ana Gasteyer and Mo Rocca (92Y Lyrics & Lyricists series), productions at Flat Rock Playhouse and Westport Country Playhouse, and 34 works of dance theater as Artistic Director of The Chase Brock Experience. Brock has taught, lectured or choreographed for The Juilliard School, Yale School of Drama, Barnard College at Columbia University and many more. Brock is currently developing the new musicals Luna and the Gold River Docks, Delirious Berlin, Pole and As Told by Mimi, as well as Eric Dietz’s screenplay Starlite, which he will direct. Brock is the subject of the documentary Chasing Dance.
