Grace Peknic
Ensemble

It is with the most overflowing heart that Grace takes her final bow on the Edgerton stage in American Idiot. Grace is a senior Theatre Arts, Musical Theatre Concentration and Strategic Communications, PR & Advertising double major with a minor in Film & Television. Grace recently played Alison Bechdel’s in Sacred Heart’s production of Fun Home. Other SHU credits include: Promises, Promises (Marge MacDougall), Little Women(Beth March), The Rocky Horror Show (Janet Weiss), Our Town (Emily Webb), A Chorus Line (Offstage Singer), The Mad Ones (Samantha Brown), and The Other Josh Cohen (Female Ensemble). This summer, she made her international debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with SHU’s Repertory Company in the original romantic-comedy musical, Reject Me, Already! Grace is thrilled to be returning to the Fringe this summer with SHU’s Repertory Theatre Company in the unauthorized parody musical, Crapp’s River (Moira Rose). Grace is so excited to continue her career with the knowledge she has gained from Sacred Heart.

Grace is endlessly grateful for every moment, memory, and lesson she has gained through TAP. She would like to thank Jerry Goehring, Leo Carousone, and Simone DePaolo for their guidance and mentorship over these past four years—words will never be enough to express her appreciation. She would like to thank her mom and dad, family, and friends for their unwavering support throughout her four years at SHU and cheering her on every step of the way.

She would especially like to thank the Theatre Arts Program for bringing her the best friends that she will have for life. She is so grateful for each and every opportunity that has shaped her into the person who she is today. She could not imagine a better way to have spent her four years than doing what she loves, in the places she loves, with the people who have made every moment so special. She has had the time of her life.
