Grace Curley
Book

Grace Curley is a recent Playwriting MFA graduate from the University of New Orleans. In 2021, her one act play, Something Blue was performed in the Sacred Heart University Theatre Arts Program new works festival, TheatreFest. In 2022 her play What It Means To Be Polite was accepted to the national Mid-America Theatre Conference's Ten-Minute Playwriting Symposium, in Cleveland, Ohio. Her play, Your Children Will Follow was performed at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which received four stars from The Derek Awards. 

Sacred Heart University annually performs her adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Her play Laurel Canyon, 1979 received a developmental reading in New York City with female-driven theatre company, The Fire Weeds in June of 2025. Curley is delighted to return to her Alma Mater to work on Crapp’s River, which performed a sold-out run at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

Born and raised in New York, she graduated from Sacred Heart University in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and English. When not writing, Grace can also be seen working in film and theatre as a Production Assistant, Producer, and Production Stage Manager, and has supported storytelling across New Orleans, New York and London.
