Paul Richard Keegan
Book, Music, and Lyrics

Paul began writing Reject Me Already on May 4th, 2022 as he was driving home from work. (He was recording a voice memo, so it was completely safe.) The show was later produced at Sacred Heart University in 2023, and Paul is finally recovering from the shock of finding out that his little rom-com musical will be premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe. After the initial rush of terror wore off, he quickly recognized this opportunity as the true thrill and honor that it is. Recent writing credits include; Theatre: Taking A Drive, Last First Day, As Seen On TV; Film: The Space Western of the Southwest, Magical Mystery Toy, A Leg Up. After two and a half years of development, Paul is thrilled to be able to share this story with audiences at SHU and beyond. Thanks to Jerry for his trust, support, and vision; to Grace Poscillico for her guidance, dedication and endless commitment to RMA; to Chris, Colleen, Grace, Nick, Sage, and Sean for bringing this show to life and making it their own (and tolerating his constant need to revise and rewrite); to Andrew for his incredible orchestrations and patience; to the wonderful production team, creative team, marketing team, and everyone behind the scenes that made this show possible. He would like to thank all those involved in the initial development and mounting of Reject Me for their invaluable contributions. Paul would also like to thank his parents, Paul and Barbara, for their unwavering support and encouragement. For Butch, Maryalice, Paul, and Jan. “Take a little chance on love.” @paulrichardkeegan / paulrichardkeegan.com
