Kam Kampton (he/him) is stoked to be making his assistant-directorial debut with King Lear! He is a playwright, performer, and composer-lyricist and is midway through his BFA in Dramatic Writing at NYU. Kam has a predilection towards Shakespeare, horror, musical theater, and puppetry, in no particular order. He is very passionate about being transgender. Kam would like to thank Anna for suggesting he should maybe try his hand at directing; Varsha and Ben for being role models of loving and igniting Shakespeare; this entire cast and crew for their dedication, humor, and zeal; and Zoe for being the push he needed to step out of his comfort zone, and for being the best artistic collaborator and all-around pal in the world.
