Tori Tedeschi Adams is an exciting young soprano whose rich yet effervescent voice and talent for storytelling has quickly caught the attention of the opera world. Last season, Ms. Adams originated the role of Elva Heaster Shue in the world premiere of Everlasting Faint with Madison Opera, made her Opera Las Vegas debut as Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, joined Opera Modesto as Gianetta in L’elisir d’amore, and sang the role of Clorinda in La Cenerentola with Salt Marsh Opera. She also joined the Metropolitan Opera roster to cover a role in Kaija Saariaho’s Innocence. Over the summer, she joined Central City Opera to cover Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, sang the role of Sarah in The Ballad of Baby Doe, and was also a featured soloist with Music in the Vineyards for their end of season gala. Upcoming season engagements include singing the title role in The Little Prince (Portman/Wright) with Opera Modesto, and First Trio Member in Trouble in Tahiti with Austin Symphony. She will also perform in Enchanted Melodies: An Interactive Opera Fairytale, a one woman show for children written by Caleb Yanez-Glickman and Emily Gallagher throughout Napa Valley.
