Soprano

Cristina Jones (also known as The Blind Soprano) is a Japanese-Welsh soprano residing in Austin, Texas. She has given recitals and concerts, and has performed operatic works domestically and internationally. Notable highlights include Mozart's Requiem, the titular role of Tchaikovsky's Iolanta, Queen of the Night in Mozart's Die Zauberflóte, The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, and Art in the Dark. Cristina has also been featured in NPR'S From The Top. She has participated in several disability awareness concerts, including performances for the BBC, Australian Broadcasting Company, and other disability celebrations or festivals.

In 2022, Cristina received the San Francisco Classical Voice Audience Choice Awards for Best Opera Singer, Best New Discovery, and Best Opera Performance.
