MALE LEAD DANCER

Originally from Co. Cavan, Ireland James discovered his love for the art of Irish Dance as a child in Dundalk taught by the acclaimed Mona Ni Rodaigh. He enjoyed a successful competitive career winning every major title included the coveted World championships. In the professional arena. James has worked on many productions and with admired choreographers. He has danced as the principal dancer for ten years with Riverdance in venues such as Radio City Music Hall, New York and the 3Arena, Dublin. Other productions include Heartbeat of Home (The West End, London), Eiru dance company (with Breandan de Gallai) and Prodijig’s Footstorm (with Alan Kenefick).  James is a fully qualified and experienced Sports and Myoskeletal Massage Therapist, working primarily with dancers. His therapy company is soon to be relaunched as Irish Dance Therapy.
