William is a 28 year old professional dancer born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut. Specializing in Hiphop and Tap, William started dancing at the late age of 14 at Northstar Dance Academy with Kandie Melendez and Corey Hutchins . In 2012, William graduated as a Dance Major from Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts under the guidance of teachers such as Kim Stroud, Judy Tolomea, Debra Goffe, Clare O’Donnell, and many others. Since then, He has performed in various venues across the country and the world. William is a Senior Company Member and Tap Choreographer of Hartford’s based CONNetic Dance under the Direction of Carolyn Paine. Some of his credits with CONNetic include CONNetic Dance's  "Dracula", “Coney Island: Love on the Boardwalk”, and “Nutcracker Suite and Spicy.” In 2015, he performed in “Boston Tap Company’s Rhythm in the Night” with CT Tap under the direction of Corey Hutchins. William is also a dancer with Connecticut based production company Dfx Entertainment under the direction of Nicole Cassarino-Conlon. With Dfx Ent., his credits include "Dream Team" at Foxwoods, various private events, and the touring show "Echoes of Sinatra" starring Steve Kazlauskas. In addition to his work with CONNetic, Dfx Ent., and CT Tap, he toured nationally as a Backup Dancer in "The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience" (UMX) starring Joby Rogers all across the United States for two years. In 2018 , William returned home from a 9 week China tour with the Barrow Company of the world renowned show “Riverdance.” Upon returning, he was a convention teacher as well as dance adjudicator for “Work It Dance Challenge”. In 2019, William rung in the new year with “Echoes of Sinatra” (Dfx) at the World Resort Catskills and had the honor of performing along side Broadway Legend Ted Louis Levy. Most recently in Nov 2021, William had a month long residency with Riverdance at the Expo 2020 Dubai. William can’t feel anything but thankful for all the blessings that have come his way and he can’t wait to see where his journey takes him next. "Hiphop from the Heart, Tap from the Soul."
