Sofia fell in love with dancing at the age of nine. She joined Charlottesville Ballet Academy in 2020 as a student, training in ballet and contemporary. She is continuing her training at CBA in the Student Ensemble program. Sofia has performed as Daylight in Coppélia and the Silver Fairy in Sleeping Beauty in CBA Spring Performances. In 2023, Sofia began assistant teaching alongside faculty members where she discovered her love for teaching dance. She is excited to join the Charlottesville Ballet Faculty for the 2024-2025 season and share her love of dance with her students.
