Aidan Charboneau*, Guest Artist

Aidan was born on Fort Hood in Texas but moved to Virginia when he was just over a year old. He began ballet at age four—originally as cross-training for hockey and because there was a class at the same time as his older sister’s. By The Nutcracker that same year, he had traded hockey for dancing and figure skating. Aidan has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, and even a bit of hip hop at the Ordway Conservatory of Classical Ballet and Prince William Dance Academy. He has attended summer intensives with Houston Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, Kirov Academy, Next Generation Ballet, BalletMet, and Males on Pointe (virtually in 2020). His accomplishments include placing in the Top 24 at YAGP, Top 10 at UBC, earning scholarships at WBC Finals, and receiving the top overall score at the 2025 Etoile Dance Competition in Baltimore, along with numerous other accolades from dance competitions. Aidan is excited for his senior year of high school and to be a guest artist with Charlottesville Ballet.

Aidan’s 2025-26 season performances are sponsored by Joe Mott & Sharon Burnham.
