Catherine, originally from Long Island New York, attained her formative training from The Lynch School Of Ballet. Upon completing high school, Catherine began teaching in New Jersey, while dancing with American Repertory Ballet. Later Catherine joined Roanoke Ballet Theatre as a company member and academy instructor. Throughout her time at Roanoke Ballet, Catherine had the opportunity to work closely with the students by instructing various levels in the academy and setting repertoire. Additionally, Catherine has spent, and continues to spend, her summers guest teaching at various summer intensive programs focusing on increasing students’ technique. Catherine loves getting to share her love for ballet with her students, and seeks to create an engaging and supportive environment. She is passionate about helping foster students’ personal growth and encouraging a healthy work ethic. Catherine is very excited to begin teaching for Charlottesville Ballet Academy.
