Amelia is from Saco, Maine, and started her dance training at Steppin’ Out Dance Center. She continued her studies at Portland School of Ballet, Exchange Street Studio, Scarborough Dance Center, and Dance Studio of Maine. She attended summer intensives at the Joffrey Ballet School, Festival Ballet Providence, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. In 2024, Amelia graduated from James Madison University, where she studied dance and business management with a concentration in innovation and entrepreneurship. While there, she completed two internships at the College of Visual and Performing Arts and received multiple team awards in the 2023 Rainey-Shepard Business Plan Competition. Amelia joined Charlottesville Ballet in 2024 as an administrative assistant and has since taken on new roles as faculty and development team member. Amelia is excited to continue growing her career with us this season as she is committed to spreading the joy of dance and the Ballet’s mission in the community.
