Lee started dancing at age five in Urbana, IL, then finishing his ballet training with Champaign Ballet Academy under Deanna Doty. There he taught students and peers of all ages, as well as staged sections for multiple productions. After graduating, he became a Trainee at Nashville Ballet for two seasons before being promoted to Second Company for a third season. Lee went on to join Grand Rapids Ballet as an Apprentice, making his choreographic debut for their Jumpstart Program. He then returned to Champaign Urbana Ballet in 2025 as the Director for their annual Student Production, where he managed and supported a student crew who choreographed, costumed, and built sets for young dancers to perform in The Fairy Doll. This is his second season as a Company Artist with Charlottesville Ballet and as a teacher with the Charlottesville Ballet Academy!
