Emily Wooters began dancing at age 3 and continued her dance education at local Studios near her hometown of Smithfield, North Carolina. After 10 successful years as a competition dancer studying 11 different styles, Emily continued her professional dance education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. At UNCG, she trained in ballet, modern, contemporary, tap, and African dance while studying choreography, dance history, dance education, and dance kinesiology. Emily‘s choreography has been featured and recognized at UNCG and other professional venues, as well as on competition and recital stages across North and South Carolina. Her performance repertoire includes award-winning choreographic works by Elizabeth “BJ” Sullivan, Maleek Washington, Emmalee Bradley, Clarice Young, Robin Gee, and Maurice Watson. She has performed domestically and internationally on stage and screen. Emily is excited to continue her personal and professional dance journey as she shares her passion and knowledge with the CBA family!
