Helen Joy Brock (Assistant Stage Manager/ Dance Captain) A British native, Helen Joy’s early training in dance and performance set up her passion for learning the craft from behind the scenes. She enjoyed a vibrant career taking her across the world on luxury cruise lines as a dancer and singer, with most of her experience in the role of rehearsal director and production manager. Since moving to Greenville, SC she has had the opportunity to assistant choreograph for South Carolina Children’s Theatre as well as produce and design for local studios. In her role at Anderson University’s South Carolina School of the Arts, she has co-directed and choreographed for their last four bi-annual dance concerts. Helen Joy is in the final stretch of her MFA in Dance, focusing on Creative Practice at St Mary’s College of California where she has taken classes in Producing, Dance Management, and Design. She is also working on her certification in Lighting Design in addition to her main studies. Helen Joy was in the 2020 cast of 9 To 5 at Centre Stage which was postponed. She is thrilled to be back as crew for the re-vamp of such a fun production!
