Annie Owens

Annie Owens is a 17-year-old Junior at Eastside High. Being cast as the Wicked Witch in 5th grade was the catalyst to acting pursuits in TV, Film and on Stage. She worked as featured background on multiple episodes of the CW/ DC Universe’s “Stargirl” series and other short films. Annie had the pleasure of being cast working on several theater productions during the past year including Footloose, playing the role of Mal in Disney’s Descendants and SCCT’s Cinderella, but her favorite was playing Rizzo in Grease. She is currently cast as Donna in the upcoming production of Mamma Mia! at Eastside High as well as assisting with costumes and choreography for the show. In 2022 she added playwrighting to her resume and has been overwhelmed and encouraged by the positive response. Annie is thrilled to have the opportunity to talk about it at the Prelude showcase.
