Tyler Pearson (Sid Phillips) Past Center Stage Roles: The Purest Form of Hope (Dancer). Born in Greenville, South Carolina, Tyler has premiered in countless contemporary and modern dance performances at the Gunter Theater with the Fine Arts Center’s Dance Department. He is now pursuing a triple major in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Spanish at Furman University, while also being a member of the men’s a cappella group “The Bell Tower Boys” and the African dance-based organization “AFRI Kiya” at Furman University.
