Jake Thomason (Actor 7/Music Director) Jake’s career began in earnest in 2009 when he performed the role of Ferrando in Wolfgang Amadeaus Mozart’s Così fan tutte at the Lyric Opera Studio of Weimar, Germany. He went on to participate in the concert-version of Jules Massenet’s Werther, in which he sang the title role. Other notable roles have included Lippo Fiorentino in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene with Harrower Opera Workshop in the summer of 2013, Annas in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar, Aeneas in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and the title role in Gounod's Faust with Mosaic-Arts in partnership with Opera Carolina. He has appeared in concerts with the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra, the Spartanburg Philharmonic, the Brugnatelli Singing and Conducting Symposium in Robbiate Italy, the South Carolina Bach Organization, as well as multiple church concert orchestras.
