Greg Day (Bass and Band Leader) is no stranger to musical theater as he has performed in, led, and written for many bands in support of the cast and crew around the upstate.  Formerly an Army Bandsman, Greg graduated from Furman University (BME) and the University of Southern Mississippi (MME) and has taught in the public and private sector from elementary school through graduate school since 1984, presently Greg is in his 24th year as Director of Instrumental Activities and Band Director at Southern Wesleyan University.    He is an active trumpet and bass player, composer, arranger, conductor and musical consultant.  2023 local productions include Bewitched Broadway, Summer Breezin’, Buddy Holly, Ain’t Misbehavin’, The Prom, and Aquarius.  Greg lives with his talented wife Laura and their not so talented cats in Easley.
