Chase McAbee, is a Greenville native and graduate of Furman University. He serves as the Director of Choral Music and Musical Theatre at High Point Academy in Spartanburg, SC where he teaches grades 6-12. His choirs consistently earn Superior ratings at festivals and competitions and perform regularly around Spartanburg County. He is also on staff at Christ Church Episcopal in Greenville where he directs the Children’s Choirs and oversees the music for their more eclectic “Chapel Service.” Most recently, he was musical director and vocal coach for Elton John’s Aida with Glow Lyric Theatre, Disney’s Descendants & Lion King Jr at Greer Children’s Theatre, Pippin & The Prom with Furman University’s Theatre Department, Jersey Boys at Market Theatre Co., and The Final Countdown & Songs for a New World at Centre Stage. He would like to thank his parents and his amazing spouse, Chris, for all of their love and support throughout each musical endeavor!
