Savvy Thompson (Dialect Coach) Savvy Thompson is a local actor & dialect. You may know them from their time with Centre Stage; playing roles such as the Maria Delgado in 9 to 5, Celisse in in Godspell the Musical, & Tilly in the upcoming And Getting Caught in the Rain; which won the  New Play Festival with CS in 2022. Savvy started Dialect Coaching in 2018, working on productions such as Great Expectations (Standard British & Cockney) & Orphan’s Home Cycle (Texan) at Anderson University, as well as Once: The Musical (Irish & Czechoslovakian) right here at Centre Stage. They also work as a private coaching with several local actors. Savvy is incredibly passionate about making dialect work easy and understandable for people, providing actors with tools and resources to use their voices to their fullest potential! Savvy is so amazed at all the work that the cast & crew on Beautiful: The Carole King Musical have done on this production and is honored to be their dialect coach.
