Stephen is thrilled to be directing Groundhog Day The Musical. This wacky, beautiful, hilarious musical has been playing on a loop in his head since he saw the show in 2017, so being given the chance to present it to new audiences is very exciting! To this stellar cast, the production team, the crew, and everyone who helped bring this massive show to life — thank you for your passion, artistry, and hard work! Break legs and burn gels, woodchuck chuckers! Past productions: Dir. A Piece of My Heart, Asst. Dir. Curtains! at Stamford High School; Dir. The Lobby (2022), Dir. Boeing, Boeing (2019) at Curtain Call.  Stephen is a Freelance Filmmaker and Video Producer, as well as the Digital Media Manager at Curtain Call. His recent projects include Charlotte Roth - JFK and I Wish I Didn’t Care (2022) music videos, The Art of Longing and Belonging (Short, 2020), and Be Careful Out There (2021). His short films have been screened at the NY Short, New Haven International, Bridgeport, Norwalk, and Mystic Film Festivals. stephenemerick.com
