Brian has been Curtain Call’s Education Director for fifteen years. He’s worked professionally as an actor, director, designer, scenic artist and stage manager, and his resume includes Stamford Center for the Arts, Long Wharf Theatre, the Lamb’s Theatre, National Theatre for the Performing Arts, and Radio City Entertainment. He was most recently seen on Curtain Call’s stages as The Old Man in A Christmas Story, Martin Heyman in Social Security (alongside his beloved wife, Donna), John Barrymore in I Hate Hamlet, Norman Bulansky in The Boys Next Door, and Tateh in Ragtime. Previous directing credits include It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s Superman the Musical, Beauty and the Beast, A Merry Mulberry Street Musical (for the seventh time as of the coming season), Annie, Annie Warbucks, Miracle on 34th Street, The Klemperers’ New Clothes (twice) and Gypsy (1999) for Curtain Call’s regular season, Matilda, Oliver!, Kiss Me, Kate, Les Miserables: School Edition, The Pajama Game and Hello, Dolly! for Curtain Call’s Summer Youth Theatre as well as productions with Trinity Catholic High School, Westhill High School, Stamford High School, educational touring productions for National Theatre of the Performing Arts and multiple staged and concert readings in CT and NYC. Brian would like to thank his family, all the Curtain Call staff, his stellar cast and crew, his amazing production team, his wife, the fabulous Donna Fox, for her love and humor, and his adoring grandsons and all his students for giving him focus and keeping him going through the past year.
