Luis Vega-Torres is a baritone from San Juan Puerto Rico, and currently studying at the Manhattan School of Music. During his high school years in Cincinnati, Ohio, Luis earned top prizes from NATS, Schmidt Vocal Arts, CS Music, and Dayton Opera. More recently, he was a 2024 YoungArts Winner with Distinction, and a semi-finalist in the Schmidt National Undergraduate Competition. Luis has been a chorus member for the Cincinnati Opera, and last summer, studied Italian song and opera with Classic Lyric Arts in Novafeltria, Italy. He is a student of James Morris at the Manhattan School of Music.
