HyunJee Jung
Piano

Born in 1998, HyunJee Jung began playing the piano at the age of four. She graduated from Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School as a cum laude student and earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Yonsei University in 2022. She is currently pursuing a Specialist of Music degree after graduating her Master Degree with Professor Arthur Greene at the University of Michigan with full scholarship. Also, she is working as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan. Her past teachers include Young Lan Han, Shin Kyung Kim, Jong Do An and Andre Boainain. She was selected as one of the strongest finalists of the Chicago International Music Competition held last summer. She won several competitions including Korean Liszt competition, Edu classic competition, J&R music competition, and won first prize in Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition, so she was invited to perform in a winners concert at Carnegie Weill Recital Hall in New York. She was also selected as a Korean performer to celebrate the 70th Korea Independent Anniversary concert in New Jersey. She has performed in Seoul, New York, New Jersey, Halle, Italy and other countries.  
 
Hyun Jee Jung has participated in many prestigious music festivals including Aspen Music Festival, Chicago International Music Festival, Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival, Euro Music Festival & Academy in Halle, Summit Music Festival at Manhattanville College, For the piano Summer Music Festival, Talent Music Summer Course in Italy and Colburn Virtual Piano Seminar. She had masterclass with Boris Berman, Fabio Bidini, Rodolfo Leone, Micah Yui, HyeJin Kim, Arkadij Zenziper, Steven Spooner, Douglas Humphery, Olivier Gardon, Anti Sirala, Alexandre Moutouzkine, Peter Ovcharov, Ingo Danhorn.
