Heather Hippchen is a current master’s student at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor studying bassoon performance. Her current teacher is Dr. Jeffrey Lyman and pervious teachers include Drew Pattison at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Heather has been a member of various university orchestras, bands, and chamber groups and has additionally spent time studying at the Texas Music Festival. Beyond music, Heather enjoys kayaking in the many lakes around her home in Minnesota.
