Alex Lehmann

Originally from Scarborough, Maine, Alex Lehmann has recently graduated from the Eastman School of Music and will be pursuing a Masters of Music at the New England Conservatory of Music. He has appeared in performances with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra as well as performing regularly with the Eastman Philharmonia and Eastman Wind Ensemble. He recently took part in a brief tour to the Midwest Clinic in Chicago with the Eastman Harmonie, an auditioned chamber ensemble of the EWE which was the resident ensemble for the 2024 Reynolds Conducting Institute. His primary teachers are Bonita Boyd and Anne Harrow at Eastman and will study with Cynthia Meyers of the Boston Symphony at NEC. He is attending the 2025 Chautauqua Instrumental Program studying with Rick Sherman after previously attending in 2024 and was a member of the National Symphony's Summer Music Institute in 2023.
