Celia Wojcik, is an oboist from Haddonfield, New Jersey, currently studying at The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Nathan Hughes. She has performed in numerous venues such as David Geffen Hall, The Kennedy Center, Alice Tully Hall, Verizon Hall, and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). Notably, Celia spent five transformative summers at Kinhaven Music School, where she cultivated a deep love for music. Immersed in a myriad of chamber, orchestral, and wind orchestra ensembles, a highlight for her was holding the Principal Oboe role for the orchestra's renditions of La Scala di Seta and Lutoslawski’s Concerto for Orchestra in 2023. This past summer she attended the Domaine Forget Academy and the National Symphony Orchestra’s Summer Music Institute where she participated in masterclasses, chamber music, and orchestra. Celia’s training includes private study under Philippe Tondre, principal oboist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, David Nuttall, former principal oboist of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, as well as participation in masterclasses held by members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, by leading conductors, artists, and classical music educators. Celia is greatly looking forward to opportunities to continue growing herself as an artist during her time at Juilliard.
