Anna Sykes, originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, received her Bachelor’s degree in violin performance from East Carolina University studying with Professor’s Ara Gregorian and Hye-Jin Kim. She is currently in graduate school at the University of Michigan studying violin with Professor Aaron Berofsky. Anna has spent the last three summers working and performing at Greenwood Music Camp and NC Governor’s School West and previously attended the ECU Summer Chamber Music Institute, Vivace! International Music Festival, Eastern Music Festival and Madeline Island Chamber Music Festival. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and drinking tea.
