Kelly Colburn is a multidisciplinary artist and projection designer whose recent work has been seen at leading theaters both regionally and Off-Broadway. Recent select credits include Romeo and Juliet at Folger Theatre, Postcards from Ihatov at 1st Stage, My Mama and The Full Scale Invasion at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Passing Strange at Signature Theatre, Look Both Ways at the Kennedy Center, and Fela! in a co-production between Round House and Olney Theatre Center. Off-Broadway, she designed american (tele)visions at New York Theatre Workshop. 

Kelly is a two-time Helen Hayes Award recipient (2020 and 2024), with additional nominations between 2022–2024. She was also nominated for the Lucille Lortel Awards and Henry Hewes Design Awards in 2023. Her past honors include the 2018 Jim Henson Puppetry Grant and a 2017 NextLOOK residency. She currently serves as Executive Director of Flying V. Kelly holds a BFA from NYU (2011) and an MFA from the University of Maryland (2018). More at www.kellycolburn.com.
