Sarah Zieba is a Polish-American mezzo-soprano originally from Orland Park, IL. She recently completed the BU Opera Institute program studying with Penelope Bitzas. With the Opera Institute, she sang the role of Jo in Mark Adamo’s Little Women, Ruggiero in Handel’s Alcina, the title role in Cendrillon, and Sesto in Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito. She recently won the RICCO Collegiate Vocal Competition and was featured as the alto soloist in Mendelssohn’s Elijah with the Rhode Island Civic Chorale & Orchestra this past spring. She received her Master of Music from Northwestern University.
