Charlotte Fong is a student at the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University, majoring in violin performance. Raised in Hong Kong and Canada, she was a member of the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra. During her time at Interlochen Arts Academy, she served as concertmaster of the academy orchestra. Her string quartet has performed at Merkin Hall in New York City and the City Opera House in Traverse City, Michigan. They have also recorded for Interlochen Public Radio and played a charity concert for the Traverse City Rotary Club.
Charlotte has had the honor of receiving scholarships to attend several music festivals, such as the Bowdoin Music Festival and Boston University Tanglewood Institute. Her current teacher is Blair Milton, and her previous teachers include Peter Winograd, Loo Tsai, and Tina Qu.
