Manuel Arellano recently completed the Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program at LA Opera. He holds a master’s degree in collaborative piano from the University of Michigan, where he studied with Martin Katz, and a doctorate in opera coaching from the University of Texas at Austin under Tamar Sanikidze. Between degrees, he spent a year freelancing in Berlin. 

Manuel has performed in concert with renowned soprano Julia Migenes and music icon Stevie Wonder. He has held fellowships at Wolf Trap Opera, Music Academy of the West, and Aspen Opera Theater, where he was invited for multiple seasons. He currently serves as a coach at the Manhattan School of Music.
