Mira Vaughn is a chamber music fellow at the Tianjin Juilliard School studying with Hanna Lee and Honggang Li. For her undergraduate degree, she attended the Cleveland Institute of Music, in the studio of Jeffrey Irvine and Lynne Ramsey. Mira has performed professionally with the Maryland Symphony, Reading Symphony, Baltimore Choral Arts Orchestra, and Columbia Orchestra. Festivals attended include Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI), Bowdoin International Music Festival, Interlochen Viola Institute, and Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival. She has been selected to perform in master classes for Kirsten Docter, Michelle LaCourse, Susan Dubois, Daniel Sweaney, and Catherine Lees. She performs on a 2016 viola made by Hiroshi Iizuka.
