From Long Island, NY, Cristina Vieytez is a horn player currently studying at the Yale School of Music, pursuing a master's degree under the tutelage of William Purvis. In 2024, she received her bachelor's degree and a Performer's Certificate from the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Peter Kurau. In high school, Cristina attended the Juilliard Pre-College. An avid orchestral musician, Cristina has recently performed with The Rochester Philharmonic, The Buffalo Philharmonic and The Syracuse Orchestra. Throughout recent summers, Cristina has attended the Aspen Music Festival, the National Orchestral Institute and the Eastern Music Festival.
