Elijah Van Camp-Goh is a fourth year undergraduate studying trombone performance at Columbus State University. He has achieved recognition as a soloist as a winner of the American Protégé International Concerto Competition , the Sewanee Music Festival Concerto Competition, and the Salem Trombone Competition. In chamber music, Elijah was part of the Iridescent Trombone Quartet that placed in the International Trombone Association's Quartet Competition. He also plays regularly with brass quintets at CSU, along with the Schwob Trombone Choir which traveled to Korea for the Korean Trombone Symposium in 2024. Elijah is active in the Southeastern U.S., playing locally in Columbus, being a substitute for the Panama City Symphony, and performing for middle and high schools in Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. Elijah plans to pursue a masters degree in trombone performance, become a professional orchestral trombone player, foster an active solo career, and build a studio of young trombonists in the future.
