| This year Mr. Baumgarten celebrates his 33rd season with Chautauqua Opera. Mr. Baumgarten has designed lighting, video, and scenery for over 450 productions at regional and international opera companies, including New York City Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Opera Lyra Ottawa, Manitoba Opera, Arizona Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Lyric Opera Kansas City, Palm Beach Opera, Michigan Opera Theater, Opera Carolina and Chautauqua Opera. Mr. Baumgarten recently retired from Opera Carolina where he was the Director of Production for 20 years, and designed lighting for over 110 productions during his 40 year tenure. |
