Jacqueline Groves is a first year Artist Diploma student studying clarinet with Joaquin Valdepeñas. She is the recipient of the John and Winnifred Osborne full tuition scholarship. Jacqueline earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan where she studied with Daniel Gilbert and Chad Burrow. Jacqueline graduated as a James B. Angell Scholar with highest honors. She performs regularly with the Lima Symphony Orchestra and has also performed with the New World Symphony. In past summers, Jacqueline has attended the Aspen Music Festival, Round Top Music Festival, and Eastern Music Festival. Prior to college, Jacqueline studied with Dr. Bryan Conger at the Interlochen Arts Academy, where she was awarded the Excellence in Fine Arts in Music Award.
