Cole Kubesch is an oboist from Cincinnati, Ohio, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Oboe Performance and Literature under Richard Killmer at The Eastman School of Music. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Miami University, where he studied with Andrea Ridilla, was named a Presser Scholar, and won the University Concerto Competition twice, performing works by Mozart and Vaughan Williams. At Eastman, Cole performs regularly with the Eastman Wind Ensemble, Musica Mova, and the Eastman Philharmonia. In recent summers, Cole participated in Orford Musique, Madeline Island Music Festival, The Pierre Monteux School, and Sewanee Summer Music Festival.
