Ryan Michki

Ryan Michki is an operatic tenor and scholar working in all aspects of music, opera, and theater. He is in his fifth year at the Bard College Conservatory of Music and plans to graduate in the spring of 2026 with a B.M. in voice performance and a B.A. in Historical Studies with a graduate thesis focused on the study of Black American composers Undine Smith Moore and David N. Baker during the Civil Rights era. Some of his recent musical endeavors include performing as a chorus fellow in the 2024 Spoleto Festival, participating in Opera Saratoga’s 2025 summer festival, singing in The Berkshire Opera’s 10th Anniversary Concert, and most recently, performing with The Orchestra Now (TÓN) the rarely programmed orchestral version of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ song cycle On Wenlock Edge in November of 2025. He plans to continue to graduate studies in voice and opera after graduation from Bard.
