Canadian pianist Lindsay Bui has won awards in North America, including top prizes in the Canadian Music Competition for both solo and four-hands/duo piano categories, an honorable mention at the 2016 Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, CT, and a solo appearance with the Burlington Symphony Orchestra in their 2017 Rising Artist concert. She has participated in festivals such as the Amalfi Coast Music Festival, Orford Music Festival, Texas State International Piano Festival, University of Michigan Early Keyboard Institute, and Stichting Peter de Grote Festival. She has performed in masterclasses for artists including Anton Nel, Ronan O’Hora, James Anagnoson, and Luc Beauséjour. 
 
Her recent honors include the King Memorial Fund Award, Grancell Music Award in Piano, and Mannick Music Fund Award (2023–2025), as well as the David and Marcia Beach Summer Study Award (2022), Richard Iorweth Thorman Jazz Scholarship (2020), and Jean Lumb Arts Award (2019). 
 
Lindsay is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Pedagogy and Performance at the University of Michigan with Professor Logan Skelton. She obtained her Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, studying with Professor Kevin Fitzgerald, and her Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto with Professors Lydia Wong and Enrico Elisi. She also holds an Associate Diploma (ARCT) in Piano Performance (2018) and was a scholarship student at the Phil and Eli Taylor Performance Academy, where she studied with Peter Longworth, Michael Berkovsky, and Li Wang.
