John Bogdan is a collaborative pianist and vocal coach. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts in Piano Performance from the Royal Academy of Music in London. He has worked with the University of Michigan Department of Musical Theatre since 2019 and has served as its collaborative pianist since 2024.

In 2026, John and his fiancée released their debut album, You Shall Pursue. He has served as collaborative pianist for masterclasses led by industry leaders including Maria Friedman, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Andrew Lippa, Mary-Mitchell Campbell, Mike Mosallam, Andy Einhorn, Stephen Oremus, and others.

Artists with whom John has worked have gone on to perform on Broadway, Off-Broadway, on national tours, and in the West End, including Hamilton, The Outsiders, Oh, Mary!, Buena Vista Social Club, Maybe Happy Ending, Wicked, The Great Gatsby, Evita, and The Phantom of the Opera.
