Henry Griffin is a 22-year old baritone studying under the tutelage of Marlena Malas. Henry‘s recent roles include Count Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro at the Castleton Festival as well as several roles at the Chautauqua Opera Conservatory including Dr. Bartolo also in Figaro, Toby in 110 in the Shade, and Snug in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Henry covered the role of the Commentator in Derrick Wang’s opera Scalia/Ginsburg at the Chautauqua Opera Company in 202 1. This year, Henry will be performing the role of The Forester in Janacek’s The Cunning Little Vixen at the Chautauqua Opera Conservatory. Henry studies at the Manhattan School of Music where he will graduate in May 2023 with a Bachelor’s in classical voice.
