Liam Gibb is a violinist from Stillwater, Minnesota. Recent solo engagements include his debut at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall as well as performing Piazzolla's Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas as a winner of the CCM Concerto Competition. A recipient of the Presser Foundation Graduate Music Award, he commissioned and performed new works of four composers from across North America that highlighted LGBTQ+ history and experiences.
As an orchestral musician, he has performed with the Columbus Symphony, the Chicago Philharmonic, the West Virginia Symphony, and the New World Symphony, among others. His primary teachers include Aaron Janse, Francesca Anderegg, and Timothy Lees.
