Abigail is from Centennial, Colorado, and recently graduated from the Eastman School of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Horn Performance, where she studied with Peter Kurau. She will be continuing her education at the Colburn School in the fall for her Master’s degree, where she will study with Andrew Bain. In previous summers, she has attended the Aspen Music Festival as a fellow, Brevard Music Center, and the Domaine Forget International Music Festival. Abigail is a substitute horn with both the Rochester and Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. When she’s not playing horn, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, reading, and spending time with her pets!
